The Lumada

Excellent value for money and a little gem, wonderful hosts

Pros: The property is a traditional Blackpool b&b and the hosts Angie and Vince are lovely friendly hosts. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we were not expecting a small fridge, ironing board and iron and extra heater and a fan, all being lovely extra touches. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and had fully stocked shampoo/conditioner and body wash, also soap and plenty of toilet roll and lovey fluffy white towels. We only stayed for 2 nights and Angie cleaned our room from top to bottom after the first night which was so appreciated because of the nature of our stay we were pushed for time which also meant we didn’t have time to try what smelt and looked like a lovely breakfast. My son has already booked to return in a couple of weeks and tbh only unavailability would stop us from returning every time we are back in Blackpool. So thank you and we’ll see you soon

Pros: The whole experience of staying at the Lumada was fantastic. Angie and Vince were great hosts who took good care of us. They have a lovely hotel and they both work hard to keep it running smoothly. Nice bedroom with comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Delicious breakfast with a choice of cereals, full English and continental breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Angie and Vince are truly amazing hosts, I was welcomed from the second we arrived and we felt so looked after until the second we left. I wish all hotel's were like this. We enjoyed breakfast and it was good value.

Cons: Nothing,even though Angie said our room was next to be renovated.I was happy with it.it was spotless, warm and cosy.I slept so well.

Best small hotel we've stayed in for years and we will be back.

Pros: The owners made us welcome from the moment we arrived. Friendly, nothing is a problem. Breakfast is good value and there is plenty of it. Hotel spotlessly clean, bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable, bedding was teddy material which was perfect after a very cold day walking around and you need to snuggle down into bed. Room had plenty of draws and wardrobe space. Plenty of tea bags, coffee and milk. Even had a fridge, which was an added bonus. Nice fluffy white towels. Hotel very quiet at night, so we all slept well. A little Gem in a place full of rough.

Cons: This is the tiniest complaint, but the shower wasn't the best and thats just nit picking. The water was lovely and hot and we all managed to get a shower, but shower pressure wasn't the best, or perhaps a new shower head is needed. Honestly we didn't mention it, because it was so minor and everything else was perfect, we didn't want to spoil the experience. I'm sure if I had mentioned it, they'd have sorted it, but we were tired and we just wanted our beds.

Beautiful place and lovely owners

Pros: Angela and vince was amazing! Couldnt fault anything! The rooms where lovely, breakfast was amazing, location is perfect and if you ever needed anything angela and vince would always help. Wont go anywhere else now.
