Excellent location, very comfortable

Pros: Great location above centre of town with fabulous view of the whole bay especially at sunrise. Clean, well equipped, very comfortable, host was helpful when we had to phone for some help with tv controls.

Cons: Bathroom fan was a little noisy when running, the aparment was warm (in December) but heating system was not as quiet as expected, possibly air/airlock in the system. Both could be easily fixed.

Pros: The view from the appartment was fantastic, it was a very homely appartment

Wonderful stay in an unexpected pretty part of the Lakes.

Pros: Location,cleanliness,ease of contact with host were all top notch .

Cons: Didn’t really understand the heating ! We got it working and so didn’t feel the need to contact the host, who had already stated we could contact her anytime. To walk into town is down a steep hill. The reason we stayed where we stayed was because I was visiting a friend who lived two streets away..so it was extremely convenient for my purposes. Being so high up afforded a fantastic view of the bay.

A lovely break

Pros: No breakfast provided on our stay, but that was ok. Views excellent, stunning. Reveal to the property up the hill not for the faint hearted. However, I am in my 70's and my sister in her 60's and we managed it.

Cons: There was nothing not to like

We planned a 2 night stay but had to cut it to 1 night due to family illness. The property was non refundable so I lost

Pros: Convenient to where we wanted to be as was meeting family

Cons: Nothing to dislike other than it is non refundable, so if you are unable to stay due to unforeseen circumstances you lose your money.

Grange is a superb place to visit, tranquil & beautiful

Pros: The fabulous location & views we Spotless & Well equipped

Cons: A little cluttered in living room

Wonderful views in a tranquil location

Pros: The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The garden was lovely, child friendly and private. The kitchen was well equipped, unlike some holiday homes, so you could easily cook a meal. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. With the balcony doors open, the view from the couch is beautiful, with the sound of the wind through the leaves of the trees nearby. Instructions were clearly communicated prior to arrival. We had no issues getting in, nor any issues with the accommodation. Everything was perfect, my partner, son and I loved our stay, and hope to stay again next year.

Cons: Not a major issue - the apartment has no designated parking, you have to use a visitor space. Not a problem when we arrived, but when we went out the next day, there was no space when we came back, so just parked on the road, which is free anyway. Just a bit further to unload/load the car, even worst if it's raining. Checkout is 10am, to allow time for the cleaner to come before the next guest. Would have been nicer to have an extra hour in bed/chill time, with an 11am checkout.

Wonderful views

Pros: The beautiful view! Wonderful estuary views which were constantly changing. The garden was large with loungers and a table. Comfortable bedrooms. On site parking. The proximity to Grange centre with lovely shops and cafes also the promenade and the Park. Train rides to Arnside and Ulverston too. Will be back.

Cons: Only the steep walk back up to the property! We aren't very fit. There is a shortcut path.
