Beautiful apartment in a beautiful, peaceful location

Pros: Everything! The bottle of Bubbly chilling in the fridge on arrival. Tea, coffee, sugar & condiments all provided. The facilities, including the heating & shower, were excellent. There was more kitchenware provided than we usually expect. The apartment was tastefully decorated & the location within a beautiful, peaceful park setting with country views, attached garden, patio area & a private mill pond to walk along. Aynsome is just a 5 minute drive to Cartmel.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

We found that the property fulfilled all our needs for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Host Phil was very helpful.

Pros: High quality features - hob bathroom etc Well equipped and good layout Very clean and cosy

Cons: We found the need to drive at all times as the access road was unsuitable for pedestrians

Lovely stay

Pros: We had a really lovely stay at Willow View. The apartment is well located just off the beautiful village of Cartmel with easy access to the south Lakes and many beautiful spots. The area immediately outside the apartment is gorgeous and so peaceful. The apartment was well stocked with the necessities that you’d need for a few days, as well as some little treats too! The host tried his best to help with anything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely few days in a quiet area - very comfortable holiday 'home'

Pros: Very well appointed holiday apartment. Comfortable and in good order. Plenty of hot water (lovely shower) and heating.

Cons: Freezer didn't switch on despite checking with the 'host' that all the switches/sockets were OK. We were only staying for 3 days so it wasn't a problem but if I had taken food for a week (as a friend in another of the apartments had done) it could have been an issue.

Immaculate accommodation in wonderful grounds.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities. Easy to control, responsive heating. Apartment is set in beautiful surroundings.

Cons: Sound insulation between apartment and one above could be better.
