The Villa Country House Hotel

Pros: Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Very good food. Air conditioning unit in our room was easy to work and extremely responsive unlike those in many other hotels we have stayed in. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend stay.

Cons: A small point. Given that the hotel was not terribly busy, the service in the restaurant and bar was a little leisurely at times but this did not change how much we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Even though it has recently changed ownership and different staff it was very well organised

Cons: Not so much a dislike but the evening meal menu was quite limited, but I'm sure that's only a temporary thing due to new staff and owners
