The Sands Hotel - Room 2

Pros: Myself and my daughter Charlotte stayed in Room 2 over the weekend (Friday night to Sunday afternoon) very nice room and very quiet. Again a very nice touch to the room having a fridge. The room is spacious. We will be back again, thank you for having us.

Clean comfy and excellent value

Pros: Great location , nice and comfortable room if you come to Blackpool you know what to expect so was pleasantly surprised, nice host greeted us on arrival. Comfy beds

Cons: A little run down outside but most of Blackpool is to be fair

Pros: The hotel was big. When we first booked we got a double room without sea view, however upon arrival claire said she had upgraded us to a seaview room due to her being quiet. It was really nice of her to do that i thought. Upon showing us to our room we didnt know what to expect. It was a key coded door so was proper safe. The room was massive. Heating was on all day and we could turn radiator down of needed. The bed was comfy, bathroom was big. The view from the window was perfect just what was needed. It did say there was a bar but we wasnt shown that however we found bars local to the hotel. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends and would stay again.

Cons: There was nothing we didnt like except the bed could have done with a few more pillows and due to being opposite south pier and street lights etc, we found the light was coming through the curtains so maybe in need of darker curtains or some thicker lined ones

Pros: 100% would return. I've stayed at many Blackpool b&bs over the last 15 years and I've always found them a bit run down, this hotel took me by surprise! Nicely decorated and very clean. Little touches like extra bedding in the room if it's too cold and a fan in the cupboard if it's too warm were appreciated. Excellent location with south pier and the tram stop straight across the road. I would also recommend the steakhouse a few doors down if your looking for a nice meal.

Cons: Nothing was all great… Just the neighbours in room 4 that were at IT all night!! I mean seriously, have a breather!!

Pros: Staff polite and friendly, had an issuse which was caused by another guest, was solved and sorted straight away, they kept saying sorry even though it wasnt their fault. Rooms clean, comfortable, mini fridge in both rooms was a bonus and a nice extra, the sea view from one of the rooms was lovely especially when the illuminations were turned on.

Cons: There wasnt anything really, apart from maybe another couple of sockets (personal opinion)

Pros: Excellent location, amazing & unbeatable sea view, clean & cosy room, beds very very comfy, huge smart TV, modern bathroom, friendly & welcoming service, just brilliant!
