A wonderful place to stay
Pros: Our stay in the lodge was excellent, to say the least , very clean and extremely comfortable, very warm and very well equipped with everything you need to stay for a few days or few weeks , showers were wonderful also a good size ,two toilets, TV in bedroom and lounge . The views were wonderful looking onto the ribble valley ,we had a wonderful three nights away their ,we would have no worries regarding recommending the stay .Also we very much enjoyed the complimentary milk and eggs . Thank you .
Cons: Sadly on our arrival , booking.com hadn't given us the correct information ie :wrong number to enter the park we had to call an emergency number and spoke to the owner ,we also found out we didn't have the correct key code or the name of the lodge ,thankfully this was soon delt with by the owner 😀.

Lovely, quiet stay in well-appointed Lodge (Jan 2026)
Pros: Great stay at Ribble Valley View (Jan 2026). The finish of our lodge (#46 Duddon) was excellent. Nicely decorated, very clean and very warm. The kitchen had modern appliances (gas hob, fan oven, kettle, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, iron + ironing board), with plenty of storage. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Fridge was pre-stocked with 2pt milk and six eggs. A small wash cloth, a single, small bin bag and single tea towel were provided, but there was no washing up soap. The bathrooms were beautiful. Plenty of hot water, but no soap. Hairdryer provided! Our master bedroom had a large walk-in closet, so plenty of storage for bags/cases. The nearby Black Bull pub is superb for food or bar drinks and only a short walk away (10 min walk from the furthest lodge). The park is very quiet and well-maintained. Would highly recommend for a chilled weekend in a semi-remote location.
Cons: Booking.com provided no access details to the park or lodge, so I had to call up to get the required barrier/lock box codes. No soap/cleaning products anywhere on the property! Bring washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs and your own hand soap/shower gel for the the bathroom. The park is very quiet and feels quite remote, which was perfect for us but may be an issue for some.

An enjoyable visit
Pros: Good, quiet location with lots to see i n the area. Clean lodge, comfortable beds. Eggs and milk gifted by owners Good wifi Warm once heating sorted out.
Cons: Really freezing and a little damp smelling when we arrived and took a few hours for the lodge to heat up. Some info on the heating and TV would be helpful. Broken shower door. We were in 20 Maple. Take bin bags and soap.

Love this place. Highly recommend.
Pros: Have stayed here before when it was smaller. Highly recommend this site for beauty, peacefulness and good local amenities. The Lodges are well spaced, great furnishings, great kitchen appliances, bathrooms and en suite. The beds are super comfy and the folding doors to secure outdoor area are yet another bonus. Very cosy, secure environment. Love it. Super clean bedding, lots of towels and complimentary fresh eggs and milk.
Cons: I think the lodge I stayed in is one of the older ones and in need of a little bit of outside tlc. Outdoor lighting full of cobwebs and rail bending on barrier. Nothing major, needs a little spruce up. Feel one washing up sponge and w up liquid provision would help as nil dish washer tablets in unit, either. Outdoor patio furniture looked rather jaded.

Great location and brilliant local pub.
Pros: Absolutely beautiful location. Very nice accommodation. Good facilities - washing machine, dishwasher.
Cons: Did not receive the correct information for arrival. Unable to enter site due to requiring a code for the security gate. No cabin number or key box code given by email. Had to phone Hoseasons helpline number. Staff very helpful. Also spoke to site management in the morning to get correct code for security gate. Friendly and helpful.

Pros: The lodge was very clean, check in was easy with a code access system and staff updated us promptly (prior to arrival) when our lodge was changed. Location was lovely with good parking and a nice outside area with a view. Nice touches like having fresh eggs and milk, along with tea and coffee on arrival.
Cons: A few extra items (e.g. oven gloves, a tea towel, soap in the bathrooms and a bin bag to get you started) would have made settling into the lodge on the arrival day easier.
