Rural Family Farmhouse with Countryside views

Pros: We booked for xmas and added nights on. This plaxe is absolutely amazing and I would recommend 100 percent. There is nothing we wpuld change. Probaly the best equiped holiday rental we have done Host are very clear and very helpful.

Great extended family stay 😁

Pros: Lovely spacious house for 9 of us for an extended family weekend. All rooms a good size, two lounge rooms, excellent outdoor space with bbq, pool table etc.

Cons: The access road to the property is very rough and full of potholes! Drive slowly and you're fine... as long as you don't have a low car!!

Clean, comfortable luxury farmhouse, would recommend.

Pros: Stunning house and garden. Very clean. Fully functioning kitchen with loads of space and cooking equipment. comfy beds. Lots of games. Very rural with amazing views. We loved having 2 sitting rooms too, and all being able to fit around the huge dining tables. Good value for money. Great communication and really welcoming.

Cons: Very little, only the lack of WiFi and little phone signal, but on the other hand it was nice to have some downtime. The road to the property is in bad shape. But both of these are outside of the owners control. A hot tub would complete the property.

Excellent family/group location.

Pros: House & gardens ideal for our 70th birthday celebrations 4 adults & 5 grandchildren for a 2 night stay plus an extra 6 visiting for an afternoon celebration. The road leading to the house is access to farmland so was a little bumpy. Very quiet surrounded by fields so no traffic or neighbour noise. Owners are friendly accommodating to all our needs and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Beautiful, welcoming place to stay!

Pros: We loved the place! Plenty of space for a mixed family group. A big dining table we could all fit around, cosy play room for the younger kids and a pool room for the older children. Tons of places to sit and have a quiet drink, comfy bedrooms, beautifully maintained garden … I could go on! It was all so lovely, we will be back.

Cons: We actually debated cancelling the booking after seeing the comments about the access road. Glad we didn’t! The directions given by the hosts were clear and we took the shortish drive down the private road fairly slowly, with no issues whatsoever. It really was no issue at all.

Pros: We loved the easy atmosphere of the house and the comfort of the rooms. Our grandsons - late teens - parked themselves in the games room or pulled the table tennis out into the courtyard. It's a great kitchen for sitting around as a family and for producing meals for 12. The garden is full of shady corners for reading by yourself, or tables for early evening drinks in the sun. It's nicely maintained, clean and well presented, with attentive owners. Loved it.

Comfortable guest house with great views.

Pros: Good size for a large group. Plenty of space inside and out.

Cons: The farm track leading up to the house was a challenging drive.

A nice weekend away with a group ( family )

Pros: travelled as a family get together for my birthday met Kim on arriving she’s such a lovely lady shown us about and what a gorgeous home she’s got so homely toys for the kids plenty to do for them in the garden they loved the swing tree table tennis pool etc We fully made use of the garden with some spring weather the nicest weekend we chose for Easter bank holiday too. large dining area plenty room to cook and dine together lots of seating in both lounges and the dining table lovely touch with a bottle of wine also big bedrooms comparable stay plenty bedding throws and towels in each bedroom for each guest to use .

Cons: Cobbled roads lots of holes in the road on the road ( tractors route ) to the house just drive careful that’s alls I can say No WiFi was a bit disappointing for the kids mainly, one tv in the house in the main living room

Pros: The farmhouse was lovely they have have everything you could need, the views we’re breathtaking very clean we had damage done to our car not the hosts fault they were very helpful trying to get someone to fix it

Cons: The road up to the property was terrible maybe would be a good idea to pre warn people as we had a Range Rover and had damage done
