Kents Bank Holiday - Pet Friendly with Bay Views

Pros: Lovely cottage with beautiful views had everything you could need for cooking washing or just a nice relaxing holiday. A few mins walk to the train station 1 stop away from grange centre and not to far from other areas for day trips or country walks

Cons: Sofa's we're a little uncomfortable

A good time away, to enjoy some village life and take things easy.

Pros: The location and cleanliness of the property is great. We really enjoyed our stay, our intention was just to enjoy some time away without much care or worry, without much aim, and this property certainly allows for it. We brought board games and books. The kitchen table and the summerhouse can accommodate board games for a few people. If like us, you have not planned much to do with your visit, then there are plenty of materials provided which inspired us to make most of our time there. There are a fair few dog friendly visitor locations, pubs, cafes, and loads more in the area that if you want to bring a four legged friend it is worth it. The garden is a good size and fairly closed in, they will enjoy a run around with a ball.

Cons: I don't know if the bed contributed, but i had a bit of a hard time sleeping. It may have been slightly too soft for my liking, but the weather was really hot, so i wouldn't hold that as much of a valid criticism on its own.

Pros: It is a very tranquil and comfortable cottage with beautiful views across the bay. It has a private drive for the car as well as a beautifully maintained and enclosed back garden for the dogs. David was very welcoming and very helpful with suggestions of things to see and do in the local area.

Didn’t want to leave

Pros: We loved our stay! Our dog settled in well, enjoyed the secure garden and made the most of all the walking options in the local area. The host was exceptional offering ideas for days out and local knowledge. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the local shops which were very close in a car but also made a great morning walk with options for eating and coffee. The house was well equipped, clean and spacious and the view of the bay was perfect. Our experience was so good that we really didn’t want to leave!

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Great place and location

Pros: Amazing location, so close to the Lake District but none of the crowds and definitely not the prices. Spotlessly clean Great views. Beautiful garden with garden room. Well equipped Great hosts

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: I visited as a solo parent with 3 children for a long weekend break. The hosts, David and Pam were very welcoming and communicated well with us. On arrival, we were shown around the property and provided with information on local sites to visit, which we found very useful. We loved the summerhouse and enjoyed spending some time there. The garden is absolutely beautiful with a variety of delightful plants and flowers to enjoy. We had a lovely stay and would certainly visit again. 🙂

Cons: Not having a dishwasher, however this was not a dealbreaker for us and would not entirely stop us from returning.

Pros: Great views and nice back garden to relax in. Comfortable property overall and nice and secure for the dog.

Cons: Out of date biscuits

Warm welcomes and a marvellous stay

Pros: A lovely weekend spent in a beautiful home. Excellent communication from the hosts and a warm friendly welcome on arrival, listen to any dinning recommendations made and you won’t go wrong. Dog friendly with a garden perfect for warm evenings relaxing with family. Gorgeous views across the bay to Morecambe and Heysham from the living room sat on the couch with your morning brew before a day of adventures. Looking forward to our return

Pros: Perfect location with beautiful views across the bay. Lovely walk back from grange over sands after a 4 minute train ride into the town centre. As a solo traveller, David checked in with me regularly. A beautiful enclosed garden meant that my dogs were safe at all times.
