Lovely cottage, everything we needed was there. We thoroughly enjoyed our times at LAKES. Thank you.

Pros: It was our first time in Lake District and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was cosy and easy to find. The host communication was excellent. We really loved the free access to the Spa especially on rainy days. Would definitely recommend to anyone with or without children.

Trip of a lifetime

Pros: Amazing value for money, great location for short drive to some stunning views. The access to the leisure centre was a wonderful bonus, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a bit. This trip has changed my life, my fiance proposed to me during this trip and it couldn't have gone better.

Pros: Had everything you needed & anything you may have forgotten to take there was a well stock shop around the corner. Bed comfortable, good shower. Lots of useful info provided & exceptional customer service by the owner via email to make sure everything was OK for our stay. Spa pass is an added bonus.

Cons: The kitchen cold tap was a little hard to turn on & off but nothing to complain about im only mentioning in case anyone had mobility issues with their hands.

LONG WEEKEND

Pros: We enjoyed how peaceful it was, easy access to Lake windermere. Brain called us on the evening to check everything was OK and even left us a pack of biscuits :-)
