Pattys Barn Holiday Cottages

Pros: Peaceful tranquil location, even if it is a working farm. Good sized very well equipped, modern, clean, spacious accommodation in converted barn. Michelle & Margaret are extremely helpful & accommodating to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They also have very extensive local knowledge of the area which they are eager to share. Close proximity of various hiking & cycling routes along the canal & in the Forest of Bowland.

warm and cozy

Pros: We had a fabulous stay over the new year. A group of 4 families with kids between 10 and 14 years old, we had two cottages (Wild Woodpecker and Cobbled Curlew) with everything we needed really for our self catering stay. Warm and cozy in all areas, great atmosphere, loads of things to do. Gaming room and little gym area were great for the rainy moments, the out barn although during a refurbishment process, we were able to use the barbecue which was fantastic. We also hired the wood fired hot tub, with the pre booking system, everything was ready for us only to enjoy the relaxing moments. The owner Michele was very kind and helpful, she recommended nice walks from the cottage, also good ideas for hiking routes in The Lakes, just one hour drive up on the M6. We will be back for sure, maybe trying on a warmer season to enjoy the sea side which is within a mile walk from the cottages.

Cons: nothing really

Pros: The location is great, near Lancaster. The hosts were brilliant, the cottages were comfy and the facilities were good too.

Cons: One of the showers had heat issues, but there are multiple showers.

Pros: Children loved the games room. Holiday home was well decorated, well equipped, clean and comfortable

Cons: A bit out of the way. Have to drive to local shops / restaurants. Longer drives 40 mins plus to larger towns

Peaceful family weekend to celebrate mum and dads 60th birthdays 🥳

Pros: Just retuned from a 3 night stay at the Lucky Duck. Absolutely stunning house with beautiful decor in the middle of the countryside.. what more could you ask for 😍 My 3 year old nephew had so much playing with the go karts, diggers and sandpit - we couldn’t keep him away! Michelle was very helpful and friendly and suggested a few things nearby that we might’ve been interested in doing!

Cons: House was very fresh, clean and tidy - thank you!

Pros: We had an excellent time. The kids were safe to go to games room and play outside whilst the grown ups sat with a brew on the bench. Beautiful views from every angle. We had a bbq and a fire Pitt and used the hot tub and plunge pool. The house was lovely and clean and supplied with everything we needed even the body wash was lovely.

Pros: The property/ apartment was perfect for what I needed just as described, in a great area and the hosts were great. I will be back later on in the year for work and will be staying again.

Pros: مزرعة جميلة واسعة بها أغنام ومنزل ريفي متميز ونظيف جدا ومطبخ متكامل التجهيزات ووجود صالة فيها تنس وبلياردو ... اصحاب المكان مهتمين به

Cons: بعدها عن مراكز التسوق والمطاعم وعدم وجود توصيل طلبات ومن الطبيعي وجود روائح المواشي كون المنزل في مزرعة قد تكون الرائحة قوية احيانا
