Wonderful stay

Pros: We throughly enjoyed our stay at the alpine cottage. It’s clean, cosy and well appointed. The host is very welcoming and helpful. It is a short walk into Garstang along the canal

Pros: The location was very idyllic, in the middle of nowhere surrounded by the wonderful countryside. The local shops where only 3 mins down the road. Thank you for letting us stay . A perfect venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary and father's day.

Cons: The only two things we would suggest. 1. WiFi connection was very slow or non existent. 2. Maybe a small shutter/curtain over the front door window.

Pros: Beautiful cottage and living area. Lovely view to one side of cottage over canal and greenery.

Cons: Double bed very uncomfortable. Noise from trains wasn't mentioned. Not as rural as expected or as peaceful. Cars off road often, and as mentioned trains.

Comfy stay in a well equipped cottage in a green space

Pros: Well equipped and comfortable cottage with a nice design, with good green views all around. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and easy to use.

Cons: It's very close to the motorway, which is of course convenient, but means you do get quite some traffic noise when outside the property. It is pretty well sound insulated inside however, so not a problem for sleeping etc.

Pros: Property was lovely very well equipped. Loved the fairy lights around the balcony.

Cons: Was a little disappointed that the only frying pan we could use was too small and was burning the food in the middle of the pan. The electric Hob was induction, so the pan with a lid that we brought with us we couldn't use. Would have been helpful if we had known it was induction before we arrived.

Pros: Gorgeous stone cottage Set in a beautiful location with garden stream and canal Very well equipped Great location for the coast, Ribble Valley, Lake District and over to Yorkshire Totally fab

Cons: Nothing. We loved it. Maybe 100% cotton bedding would have been nicer to sleep on but that is a tiny niggle

Pros: Peaceful and good location local pub nearby with good food. Handy to what I was visiting

Cons: Entrance to property along a driveway that needs some TLC.

Excellent location for exploring Lancaster & very pretty cottage and grounds
