lake view staycations

We celebrated my daughters 16th whilst staying here, the owner Jan put some extras touches in for my daughters birthday.

Pros: The location, easy to get to from the M6, 5 min drive to carnforth. The owners are such lovely people and made us feel very welcome. The caravan is immaculate and very homely. Beds are the most comfortable we’ve slept in during a caravan holiday. I highly recommend and would absolutely return.

Cons: Nothing. I have zero faults to find.

Pros: The host had provided all the little extras you need for a caravan stay, such as tea towels, kitchen roll, toilet roll, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar. We even got milk and cookies upon our arrival.

Cons: Nothing to do with the host but the park could do with a little off lead area for dogs. Although there are plenty of walking places nearby.

Pros: Lovely and clean.... Milk tea coffee biscuits ..plus cappuccino and latte machine... Plenty of towels and shampoo n conditioner.... Which is a bonus ... Even ice cubes and ice blocks ... So thoughtful....

Cons: There is nothing negative about this stay ... ,,😁😁😁

Comfortable

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Good location to go exploring for the day. Used the restaurant and pool over the road, both very good. Had everything we needed.

Cons: Couldn't find any long dog walks straight from the site but we went out for the day so not really an issue for a short stay.

Stunning accommodation in a great location. Visited for a friends 50th and enjoyed every second.

Pros: This property was exceptional. Everything was high spec, comfy couches, comfy beds. Beautiful terrace. Couldn’t fault anything. Wanted to be able to relax on this trip and this property enabled me to do just this. Felt so comfortable staying here. The owners were warm and welcoming. Lovely touch to provide nespresso pods as well as tea and milk. The kitchen has everything you need and is so well organised for a smaller space. The living area is so homely and relaxing.

Cons: There’s nothing I would say I didn’t like. Would be great to have a pub on site but the walk to the nearest one was great.

Pros: The accommodation was really nice. A lot nicer than we expected. The furnishings were really high quality, and was well kitted out with appliances. The cleanliness was superb! It was immaculate. The site was nice and quiet. With it being in the lake district, there was no shortage of water and walks around it. We visited the pool and restaurant (in the site across and the road), and had a nice time. Communication was really good from the owners, with clear instructions for arrival. We often visit the lake district, and in the future we will be aiming to stay here again. We would be happy to recommend to family and friends
