The Prince Alfred Rooms

Pros: Perfect for just getting you head down. Clean, tidy and cosy. Me and my son had a good night's sleep. Traffic was noisy but get that being on a main road. Thank you 😀

This maybe a budget hotel, but the cleanliness was excellent.

Pros: The room was very clean, as was the communal bathrooms. I was able to park my car in the street opposite without any issues.

Cons: The heating was excruciatingly hot and it took some time for the room to cool down once the radiator was turned off.

Pros: Close Enough To City Centre Via Short Train Journey. Station 2 Mins From Hotel. Clean & Comfortable Rooms. Excellent Value For Money

Pros: Everything was excellent. 2 mins walk to bus stop.1 mins walk to train station.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Great location, very close to both the bus stop and the metro. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful. At first, we got a room with mattresses that weren’t very comfortable, but they were very willing to change the room for us. Thank you!

Hidden Gem; don't be put off by outside presentation of building

Pros: Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Sam (host) very responsive and support was available remotely during check-in. Fantastic location for price and well located close to Rice Lane station which is staffed by very helpful railway personnel. Please note: this station is not suitable for people or equipment that cannot manage a considerable amount of stairs.

Cons: Property would benefit from access to kitchen sink for dishwashing / water access (water cooler is provided for kettles / drinking supply so that aspect not an issue). The outside of the building that relates to another business (Indian restaurant) is generally poorly kept. This is a real pity as this is the first impression of the property and in no way reflects the standard of the residential quarters.

Nice rooms comfy beds

Pros: Great room nice comfy bed and has handy food outlets near by as well as a train station which serves trains to Liverpool central.

Cons: Shared Bathroom could possibly be a problem if staying a while but I only stayed one night and overall enjoyed my stay.

Great location

Pros: Sam's communication was thorough, and instructions easy to follow. Self checking easy. Comfy beds. Great location for the Grand National. Lots of choice for food around the area.

Clean Property, 1min walk from Rice Lane train. 20 seconds from McDs, Dominos etc. Will stay again

Pros: The location of the rooms was absolutely perfect. I didnt know exactly where it was located and spend £16.95 for an uber and then realised the train stop and this was literally 10 minutes from L1 and significantly less expensive. It was directly beside Mcdonalds, Dominos and an indian restaurant as well as many other shops.

Cons: One of the beds was very uncomfortable. Id say the springs are broken and may be best replaced. No hair dryer or iron that I could see or shower gel but this wasnt a major issue for the shower gel as there was a shop right next door to purchase some.
