Pilkingtons Guest House Accrington

Pros: Was everything we expected, a comfortable, warm and well appointed room.

Being met - rather than difficulties obtaining drop box code.

Pros: A nice touch, providing a pottle of breakfast cereal etc. Being adjacent to the Railway Station is great - for when it rains, and RAINS.

More than happy to recommend staying here!

Pros: Breakfast bag in the morning was most welcome. Also, location was great being right next to the railway station.

Nice and comfortable guest house

Pros: Good location for the town centre, train and bus stations. Private bathroom was immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious for the price.

Cons: Unfortunately the WiFi was unavailable during our stay. I feel it would be nice to replenish the porridge pots for guests staying for more than one night.

Lovely host, spotlessly clean rooms.

Pros: Stayed in Accrington for a night with my brother on a trip through Lancashire and booked this place due to the decent price. I didn't expect it to be so central or as lovely as it was. Big room, everything spotlessly clean. Can't fault it. Cannot express enough how lovely the lady who runs the guest house was — sorry for not asking your name, so I could use it in the review. She gave us loads of great info about the town, plus some brilliant recommendations. Her family history in the area and with the guest house goes back a long way. Will be sure to book again if we're ever in Accrington in rhe future.

Comfortable,, clean, affordable accommodation in a good location for a fantastic short stay.

Pros: This was my second short stay here - once again, everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Having a dedicated Bathroom is a real plus. Fantastic value and a wonderful stay to meet family.

Cons: Accrungt9n was much noisier than usual on this occasion, more noticeable in a room at the front but not so much of a problem to spoil either my sleep or stay.

Pros: Very friendly and welcoming. Did leeds liverpool canal, perfect as a half way stop. Bike storage available.

Perfect for a single night stay.

Pros: The proprietor was very informative and very friendly. Rooms were a good size and very clean.

Cons: The heating came on during the night so it was very warm and made slightly uncomfortable. Two of the rooms didn’t have en-suite bathrooms but they did have separate bathrooms.
