Host & Stay - The Georgian Quarters at Falkner Street

Amazing stay for a weekend away. Charlie was a brilliant help.

Pros: The apartment was so spacious for our group. It was very clean and tidy. It was easy to get access to and located in a brilliant area. Charlie was a great help from start to finish. Always replied promptly and made me feel relaxed no matter what the question. Would definitely recommend for a large group.

Cons: We did find the emergency door at the end of the stairs to be a bit hard, it was easy to become distracted and forget it was not the exit, we unfortunately set the alarm off twice and felt bad for this so apologies.

Family trip

Pros: Lovely apartment. Clean. Nice area. Car park just down the road from the apartment.

Cons: Big shower head wasn't working in the shower room could only use hand held shower head. No pressure in either showers, water dribbled out. Told the host during our stay and they said they would arrange maintenance to sort the problem but this was 11.30 PM, we had 4 young children and we didn't see the point disturbing them at that hour as we were only there for two nights.

Clean & tidy. Very well located. Well managed. Good value for money.

Pros: Very clean and tidy. Kitchen well stocked with tea bags, coffee etc Good showers with strong water pressure. Heated shower rails in bathrrom was lovely. The hallway lights on a movement sensor is good. Heating control module in hallway is also very clever. Mangement company very responsive.

Cons: We had one major issue: there was inadequate heating in one of the bedrooms so the first night that room was freezing. Once we notified the management company a new heater was supplied the same day. Minor point: Finding the entrance door to the property was initially somewhat confusing as it is not obvioiusy signposted on 13 Blackburne Place that this was the access doorway to 20 Falkner St. Why not put up a sign?

Pros: We had the ground floor/basement for two couples and a baby. Quiet location, easy access to the city and docks, plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. Nice big beds.

Cons: An excess of unnecessary upsell messages from Host & Stay. Contradictory information about check in time (it's 3pm not 4pm as shown on the listing), and misleading information about parking. Yes street parking is available but only for 4 hours at a time. Yes there's a car park nearby but it can be full and it's expensive.

Pros: Lovely house, good location, clean, 3 of the loft rooms were quite drafty as beds are below the sky lights!. Fridge/freezer/dishwasher/tv

Cons: Key codes kept not working which is a pai when there's 10 people staying

Pros: The decor was gorgeous, and beautiful windows and high ceilings. The beds were really comfortable. And the price was really reasonable

Cons: There was no cafetière! But there were coffee sachets and pods!

Comfortable apartment in the Georgian area of friendly Liverpool, close to good restaurants & bars & within walk

Pros: Well appointed and comfortable apartment, which was well decorated throughout.In an ideal location with plenty of good restaurants & bars nearby. Comfy settees & beds.Plenty of crockery, glassware etc. The property is within walking distance of all the major attractions.Nearby shops mean you can easily stock up for breakfasts etc. Clear instructions on how to access the property & a useful guide.

Cons: There were no tea towels in the kitchen or dish cloths. We were a group of 9 which was fine, communal facilities might have been a bit tight if this was for 14 people. The towels were medium sized ( we felt bath sheet size would have been more appropriate for this price) and that there should have been a hand towel for each member of the party.

Highly recommendable, lovely and perfectly situated apartment! We would always come back! 😊

Pros: Nice and cozy stay in a pleasant neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and the beautiful interior! And of course the location of the accommodation with lots of great pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Cons: There could have been more trash bins in the apartment. But despite that, everything was fine!
