Charnock Farm

Great value, lovely place

Pros: Location was good, bar was convenient and had a good selection, reasonably priced too.

Cons: Very slight issue was the shower doors didn't quite close but it was really a minor thing

At Charnock farm you are treated as a very welcome guest.

Pros: This was my third stay at Charnock and not likely to be my last. The staff are the bonus, you are treated like a welcome guest rather than a number. A special shout out to the girls on the reception and to Linda who maintains the rooms to a fantastic standard, all lovely ladies. Any request made are never a bother and all go above expectations. I hope the owners reads this feedback and recognises and reward them as they are the establishments ‘stars’ and I’m sure why many make return visits.

Cons: I’m struggling to think of anything! Room was lovely. warm and clean with comfortable beds, powerful showers, lots of hot water, nice clean towels. A credit to the staff.

Cosy, comfortable and clean 👍

Pros: Arrived around 1pm and was allowed to check in early as rooms were ready. Entered into a really cosy room that had just been freshly decorated with fluffy throw on the bed, thick curtains and lovely bed and chairs. Lots of space and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Had a very good sleep and felt well rested. The Mill pub has a very cosy with a nice relaxing atmosphere, we only had a drink so can’t comment on the food. Overall a very nice stay and would stay again.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: In a nice setting., very relaxing & cleaner did a great job each day.

Cons: The shower was very disappointing as it didn’t work properly, tv glitched a lot, fan in bathroom was loud & running for a while after turning light off.

Pros: Close to where I wanted to be. Very clean. Room was larger than expected

Pros: Location, facilities, and staff were tops. Couldn't have stayed anywhere better

Definitely a good stopover, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Located within easy reach of M6. Good sized comfortable room, clean and with good bathroom. Parking. Very good value for money.

Cons: No breakfast available on day we stayed. Shower needed some attention as force of water soaked the floor.

Pros: It was in a good location for the event I was going to. The bed was very comfy. Overall we had a great stay.

Cons: The bathroom was clean but the shower was very weak pressure the cover was off the drain hole and when I tried to use the hand held the cover fell off.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Windows opened fully - that is a rarity these days but essential for some people to sleep.

Cons: Trying to find the way in!

Overall the stay was good and staff nice and would probably stay there again

Pros: The location suited us very well. The room was very spacious and clean.

Cons: The shower head was broken and the bathroom floor flooded while showering. The shower head needed replacing.
