Lovely property which was comfortable and easy to use. Great for travelling around too.
Pros: Lovely property with a wonderful room. The size was generous with antique style furnishings which fitted well with the decor. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe. The shower was good and the facilities all I needed. Self check in was
Cons: I asked for a ground floor room which was perfect except for the road noise which I needed to get used to before I could settle. But I donโt feel it was too bad as the days went by.

A pleasant stay in Liverpool
Pros: The property was functional, in a good way, supplying the basics and yet also adding some of those unexpected touches. The room was comfortable, and there are heavy curtains to stifle the noise of the traffic, as there can be many vehicles using the thoroughfare at times. The bathroom was clean, and toiletries were supplied. The shower was easy to use, and the water remained at a good temperature (which is not the case in some of the places where I have stayed). The breakfast was simple, but it fuelled me for the day. It catered for the vegetarian, and gluten-free was also mentioned. The owner called me on the way there, which was a nice touch. She had already contacted me regarding the entrance arrangements. The accommodation enabled me to walk to a number of attractions - e.g. the Anglican cathedral (the closest to the hotel, but was closed for building work when I visited), the Albert Docks, Liverpool ONE, and so much more.
Cons: The only thing of note was that there were no electrical sockets at a higher level, so I had to use ones close to the floor when plugging in the hairdryer and kettle, despite the fact that the kettle was on a shelf when not in use. A few niggles: the ceiling above the bed needs repainting as I could see the paper; and the table in the breakfast cafe nearest the door needs stabilising as it was wobbly.
