Excellent as always

Pros: Third time we have stayed and the Royal Station hotel has been consistently excellent. The small drinks fridge in the room is really useful.

Valentines weekend

Pros: Location ideal for our needs only problem was Parking only available on-street, double yellow lines except for a few outside and a couple in side street

Excellent Town Centre Accommodation

Pros: Located in the centre of the town of Carnforth - famous for the film 'Brief Encounter' - the hotel is in close vicinity of the railway station. The building has been completely modernised to an exceptionally high standard - and the facilities are excellent as are the rooms. The owners and team are friendly, engaging, customer focused and professional, and the guest is made to feel valued. Although without a car park there is on-street parking - however, there is an excellent facility directly opposite the hotel in the form of the railway station car park - plentiful & secure spaces, managed by RingGo and just £1.50 (online price) for an overnight stay until 8am.

Cons: There is nothing not to like.

Comfortable for short stay

Pros: Great location. Welcoming staff. Fabulous breakfast with quality ingredients

Cons: A little bit tired, rooms need new doors, locks did not seem particularly secure. USB socket in room would be useful.

Good and relaxing

Pros: Location wasgood nice walk to town parking was hit and miss so we parked in the stastion car park £4.50 for 24 hours brilliant breakfast was lovely

Cons: Only down fall we were on second floor with stairs and have mobility issues

Excellent all round.

Pros: Location easy to find. Good and inexpensive parking close by.

Cons: Room very hot but just left the window open. Floor boards creaked but it’s an old building, hope it didn’t disturb the people on the floor below.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere & closeness to the tourist attraction of Carnforth station.

Pros: Friendly staff & lovely comfortable room. Great position near the Carnforth heritage centre. Excellent breakfast…plenty of everything & good service.

Cons: It was great. No complaints at all.
