A gloriously quirky welcoming place to stay

Pros: The staff were wonderfully flexible about being on hand to welcome us to the hotel in person especially as our train came in quite late. Particular thanks to Stephanie who let us in. The room was as illustrated on the website and was beautifully clean and very comfortable.

Cons: There was nothing that could have been improved. It was just the sort of hotel that we relish: slightly quirky, comfortable and welcoming. (Loved the typewriters!)

Pros: Room was clean and bed was comfortable, only met 1 staff member who was very friendly. Great customer experience and they helped me out massively after I left a battery charger in the room, would stay again and most likely will same time next year, thank you again.

Cons: Room was a little smaller than expected for a superior room but not an issue in any way.

Pros: Stayed there at the same time last year for a gig, and enjoyed it so much we decided to go again. Same wonderful place with lovely touches to add to the already special rooms. Perfect for valentine's day Highly recommend this place, the staff are always so helpful and pleasant

Cons: Absolutely nothing. Last time my only negative was failing to ask someone if we could leave our bags. (Which was more on us than anybody) Managed to this time and they absolutely went out of their way to accommodate us and made the stay even better.

Great location, good communication with host and exceptional room

Pros: Excellent location near north pier. Short walk to train station and shops. Room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We were able to drop our bags off before check in which was a bonus.
