Cottage in Whalley

Pros: Absolutely perfect location in the village. It is easily accessible to all amemties and neighbouring villages. Great base for us to stay whilst we were visiting family. Thankyou

Pros: Checking in was a breeze. Communication was excellent. House was beyond expectations. Location couldn't be better. Powerful hot shower. Central heating warm and cosy. Comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped and a cold decent fridge/freezer. One tip if you're only using the shower... Pull the plug completely out so you don't end up in a bath :)

Pros: This is a stunning, spacious property in a beautiful part of the UK. Spotless, comfortable and welcoming. I went for my wifes birthday with our two adult children. Plenty of room for us all. Everything within walking distance to Whalley Village and a short drive to other picturesque areas such as Waddington amd Clitheroe. Thank you

Fab stay in what is a perfectly located cottage

Pros: Fabulous cottage in Whalley. It’s just off the main street and spitting distance to all the pubs, bars and restaurants. Very well appointed, clean and spacious accommodation and great value for money too. The host answered any questions prior to arrival within an hour, good effort. The wife and I, plus the pooch, did a tour of the local hostelries. For fabulous wine try the Whalley Wine Bar (they have outside heaters too) and for a proper traditional and well run pub make your way to the Dog Inn. For something quirky poke your nose in Delicio. It’s a cheese deli selling all sorts of weird and wonderful little foods and sauces etc. Not only that you can sit at the barrels and have a craft beer while you’re there. What’s not to like…

Cons: Nothing. However, on a personal note maybe I’d just say that the rather nice outside courtyard has a bare feel about it, no plants or decent furniture (it was autumn so that may not be the case in summer). If it was me, I’d put an air fryer in the kitchen too.

Very comfortable, extremely good value.

Pros: Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, super clean, light and airy feel, ideally located just around the corner from all the shops in Whalley. Easy to park outside.

Cons: Liked it all.
