Can't wait for our next family reunion here!

Pros: The house was enormous, the photos didn't do it justice. There were 10 of us in here will lots of room to spare! The views were exceptional, lovely location next to a pub, childrens play area and some farm land. Enough room to park 5-6 cars comfortably. We had a truck, two quashqai's, a ford and Toyota on the drive with room to spare! The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cutlery, plates etc- always a pet peeve of mine when you have an Airbnb, but this place had it all!

Cons: The house could have been a bit cleaner, but it is an old farmhouse, so you expect a certain amount of dust/spiders etc. Two of the double beds were very comfortable, but the other two were quite springy, could probably do with new mattresses on them. Two twin beds were fine. The sofas in both of the living rooms had one broken sofa in each, so if you lent against the arm of the sofa when you were sitting on it, it felt like the end was going to come off! Think these just need replacing! Everything else was great!

Fantastic house, perfect for a big family weekend away

Pros: Spacious, warm and cosy, big kitchen, close to beach. Loads of space for kids and everyone to find their own space. Good cooking facilities, various things to do locally, great views of Black Combe and sea.

Cons: Some beds a little hard, windows a bit draughty (although house plenty warm enough). Could have done with slightly more cutlery

Great location, spacious property.

Pros: Great location, away from hustle and bustle of central Lake District and short walking distance from the beach. Spacious and well equipped clean house. Extremely safe, small village location.
