It was nice

Pros: The cottage is in a lovely area, close to shops and areas where you can walk and enjoy Lytham or surrounding areas. We liked the space that it came with and the full house amenities. We were staying for 9 days which was a long time compared to the 1-2 days people may stay and it was a perfectly sized place.

Cons: It felt like that cottage could be in need of a clean and a spruce up. The sofa and chair along with the cushions were covered in dog hair which was not great to lounge on without feeling covered in hair. The kitchen was great however the oven wasn’t overly great, and it would have been nice to have some newer crockery/pans… On day 7, someone came to the property to try and enter, which left me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable in which it ruined my stay. The person stayed for around 20 mins trying to use the key pads to access the keys to the property, which felt like an intrusion as after that I felt on edge that someone would access the property without our knowledge. It was quite clear that this person knew we were there as we had belongings in the outer building plus the key was in the lock. This ruined our stay.

Pros: Gorgeous place to stay right in centre of lytham. Very cosy, had everything we needed. Alex was the perfect host. Hope to return

Fantastic stay in a lovely Pet Friendly cottage right in the heart of Lytham

Pros: The location of the property is amazing and literally, 2 minutes walk to the local shops, highstreet, restaurants and bars. You are also only 2-minute walk from the infamous Lytham Green and the estuary. Its pet friendly with its own back yard so you can let your pooch out and know they are safe. The laundry room at the bottom of the garden is fantastic, especially if you are on an extended stay.

Cons: When the weather is hot the conservatory gets VERY hot so would benefit from some blinds on the top of the conservatory to help keep some of the suns rays away. Also, an Iron and Ironing board would be useful in the wash room to iron clothes once they have been dried (if needed).

It was perfect for me and my elderly mother. Cosy, snug and comfortable.

Pros: The location is within a few minutes of both the main shopping street and from the promenade. Perfect location. It was starting to turn coolish as Autumn had arrived and the garden room at the back of the house was bathed in sun and a beautiful place to sit and read.

Very cute cottage. Loved it.

Pros: Shops, buses, pubs and restaurants were practically on the doorstep and it was only a block to the seafront. Even being right in the town center, it was very quiet. The conservatory was a bonus. Having all the amenities (washer, dryer, iron, etc.) was very handy. Perfect for our needs.

Great location and overall value.

Pros: Location- center of Lytham. Close to everything. Good kitchen facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer. Oven. Nice conservatory to sit in. Quiet place. Overall very good value.

Cons: Dust everywhere. Needs deep cleaning. Smell of dogs. Stained carpets and the arm chair/stool downstairs. Not inviting to sit on. In the kitchen salt and pepper would be nice.
