A spacious, impressive historic property that is quiet and comfortable, highly recommended.

Pros: Eller How is a spacious, impressive historic property that is quiet and comfortable, featuring fantastic gardens. It is within walking distance of Cartmel village, offering scenic views, and is conveniently located near Grange-over-Sands. The hosts, Nina and Sam, were friendly and accommodating. Nina baked a lovely cake for my wife's birthday, which was a delightful touch.

Cons: The driveway entrance to the property, located off the occasionally busy A590, is easy to miss. However, the A590 provides excellent access to nearby attractions, such as Windermere.

Wholesome and perfect.

Pros: This property is the perfect getaway or meeting up with friends, we met up with our friends from across the UK for a long weekend. It was very wholesome, we were all very comfortable and the facilities were gorgeous. Nina and Sam were perfect hosts.

Pros: Just the most beautiful house and grounds. Perfectly clean, delightfully decorated for Christmas and lots of thoughtful little touches (Christmas music playing when we arrived; a welcome Christmas card; a Christmas cake). And wonderful service from Nina

Pros: Perfect location for a peaceful weekend. We go to the lakes a lot and this is by far the most beautiful, relaxing place we have stayed. The hosts are brilliant we will definitely be back.

One of the best places we’ve stayed

Pros: The grounds were awesome and the house has been lovingly restored to its former glory. We particularly appreciated the “fairy balcony” as our 3 year old called it.

Cons: Small thing that we couldn’t use the fire as much as we hoped, as it smoked pretty heavily.

Fabulous Location /Amazing Hosts

Pros: Stunning house and gardens that made a special birthday really spectacular. Hosts were fabulous and spoilt us with an additional treat at Rogan & co which was the icing on the cake!

Gorgeous period property set in beautiful grounds

Pros: A stunning, spacious property set in beautiful, extensive grounds. Friendly host who was helpful. The balcony is just gorgeous and some of the features of the building are fabulous. Lovely bedding.

Cons: THe approach lane is a little bumpy.
