The Woodland Lodge - Wood Fired Hot Tub and Firepit

Great little get away

Pros: I stayed in the Woodland Lodge with 4 girlfriends for a special birthday. The lodge is set back from the camp site and the other pods on site which was perfect for us to have a little celebration. When we arrived one of the team was doing a last check to make sure everything was clean and tidy for us. The animals are just a short walk away so easy to explore. The kitchen had all we could need for the break. The hot tub was easy to warm up. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Woodland Lodge.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.

Pros: It was so secluded and private. The dog was free to Roam round the whole enclosure and we knew he wasn’t able to get out. Inside was comfy and well presented but the weather was lovely so we sat on the decking or in the hot tub most of the time. So peaceful

Cons: The bed in the main bedroom is a bit odd. It’s very easy to bang your head on the headboard and it’s a solid chunk of wood. And the slats at the end of the bed are uneven so the bed squeaks and you can’t perch on it.

Lovely stay

Pros: Location, quiet, remote, dog and family friendly. Any little problems we had staff were on hand to quickly get things sorted.

Cons: Hot tub took longer to warm up than stated - took about 3 hours. Booked for 3 people and only two towels left. Would book again.

Great Lodge, Great Price and Amazing Tub!

Pros: The location was great, although it backed onto a road it was really peaceful. The main selling point here is of course the wood fired hot tub and it did not disappoint. You get to light the fire yourself if you're into that kind of thing and after a couple of hours its ready! Couple hours more and it's pretty hot almost unbearable but nothing damaging - particularly nice when you sit out of it after being in for some time. The lodge itself was decorated really nicely and well kept. Bed was extremely comfy and could've slept longer but we sadly had to check out. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: There was nothing really. There were a few critters inside but this is expected in the rural area and also because the windows are left open before check in to ventilate but I understand that is needed so not a complaint.

Nice woodland lodge with hot tub close to Blackpool

Pros: The wood fired hot tub was very quick to heat and we enjoyed using this. The lodge was clean and there were useful pots and pans in the kitchen.

Cons: The mattress in the double room was extremely creaky and lumpy. It wasnt particularly uncomfortable but the loud creaking disturbed the night sleep. The outdoor furniture cushions were damp and mouldy so unusable. It would have been nice to have salt and pepper available in the kitchen.

Pros: They made our engagement celebration perfect! We couldn’t believe how lovely they made the place for us! Saying that, the place was already beautiful! Incredibly quiet and relaxing, will definitely be back again!!

Wonderful relaxing hot tub stay with great views

Pros: The property is beautifully positioned and it has a wonderful site to explore with lots of free activities for littler guests

Pros: Lodge was just as advertised, well kept, clean & well stocked with essential items, hot tub was great, excellent customer service from the owners who pre decorated the lodge for a special birthday surprise, thankyou for a lovely stay!

Wish we could have stayed longer

Pros: Came for my granddaughters birthday over night with 4 children Lovely location very family orientated, felt safe and peaceful The young man who met us was very helpful in lighting the wood fire for the hot tub which the grandchildren loved We were lucky to meet newly born piglets, an added treat
