Nice cosy cottage in good location.

Pros: Good location, short car ride to Grange-over -Sands. Easy to get in the Southern lake towns and villages. Well equipped kitchen, great shower, comfy beds. It was quiet even though a road is outside. Good heating.

Cons: There were just a few small things, the property did appear clean. There were a few things such as food and crumbs left in the grill, something had spilled in the freezer and dripped - we cleaned these up. When we did our last check around under to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything and looked under the sofa (which is on four legs - I don’t mean we moved or lifted it !) it was very dusty and had other peoples rubbish under there. It would have been nice to have some handwash in the bathroom - it’s the first place we have stayed that didn’t.

Great stay but didn't stand out from others

Pros: Secluded / private and secure. Cosy living area Balcony from living room a nice touch Powerful shower

Cons: Sleeps 4 adults however living space limited (maybe a second sofa would be ideal) Several cutlery items missing Felt a household welcome pack would be a great addition ie: washing up liquid etc Check in time 5pm a little late compared to other properties Although an old barn conversion, lots of cobwebs/spiders on arrival

Pleasant time was had.

Pros: Well appointed accommodation and clean with an excellent shower, excellent location for touring the lakes. Because the accommodation is in a town house style the bedroom can get pretty hot but forward thinkers put a couple of extractors in the ceiling to reduce that, thoughtful touch.

Cons: Nothing can be done about this but road noise is an issue if window's are open at the rear. The mattress was too hard for my personal taste. The courtyard is a haven for jackdaws and can get a bit boisterous and noisy especially early mornings and evenings, but then again jackdaws are better than magpies! No recycling.
