3 Bedroom Lakeview Lodge - Ensuite & Balcony Deck

We enjoyed our stay. It was central to all the places we wanted to visit.

Pros: It was comfortable and once the heating was on very warm. The Kitchen could do with a new can opener and baking trays. Mostly we ate at the Restaurant which was very good and welcoming.

Cons: Was not easy to find in the dark. It would have helped to have a couple of lights or a lit up door sign. I realize most people go in the Summer so probably not an issue.

Pros: Everything, it was beautiful and spacious. The beds were so comfy, and the lodge was amazing. The view from the lodge was stunning it was so clean . If anyone complains there a karen as ypu cannot fault this place .

Cons: The only thing is and it's not a dislike more of a safety issue ,the table is on its last legs literally 🤣

Pros: Nothing to dislike about the property it had everything we needed and was comfortable to stay in and relax which we wanted to do

Pros: The lodge was perfect for us. we went with our son, DIL and two grandchildren (4 and 7) There were a couple of things with the lodge but I contacted the owner who assures me he will address them.

Cons: I was not aware a family swimming pass for a family of 4 would be £70 for 3 days. we paid it it and made sure we got ample use !!!

Pros: Beautiful site, relatively quiet. Lodge was very nice. Handy for the M6 and the lakes.

Cons: Lodge could do with a little TLC but nothing major. Restaurant at site had only 1 pizza base left at 7.15 in the evening.

Really convenient location in a spacious lodge.

Pros: Nice large space with good parking. Modern and comfortable with nice decor. Close to the swimming pool and lake but felt nicely private. Liked the barrier access to the area we were in. 5 min drive to the train station and the bus 555 stops close by.

Cons: You can hear the road which I wasn’t expecting. I live in a city and I am used to the hum of traffic but it was a bit annoying on a relaxing break. 22 saucers but no tea-towels! Otherwise well stocked kitchen. Carpet in the lounge needs cleaning that’s the only thing that let this property down.

Pros: The lodge is very spacious with plenty of room for a family of 5, staff were helpful at reception to point us in the direction of the lodge, it has parking space for 1 car but additional parking on yhe main car park, the lodge was spotless upon arrival with everything we needed for a 3 night stay, beds were comfy with a decent mattress in the master bedroom. Bath is full size, took a while to fill but decent. The pool was a good size and price included access to the gym £25 for a family day pass which wasnt too bad we expected to pay with it being a private host booking, so wasn't surprised having to pay, good locaion for yorkshire dales and the caves, this site is more suited for over 50s who appreciates a quiet surrounding as there is no entertainment on site, Great Communication from owner, I have put some things I didn't like, however they weren't enough to put me off and I'd stay again

Cons: I completely understand that not every guest will look after the lodge and it does show in some areas, like stains on the carpet, having a 11 week old baby I did try to wash some clothes and the washing machine didn't work, reading the reviews now it seems its not been working for some time, I did fix the detergent panel back on though so it doesn't come off in your hand now, the draws in the kitchen were collapsing and broken and no blind in the kitchen but not a big deal, the patio doors weren't locked when we arrived, , no entertainment day/night and 9:30am check out is really hard with a baby even hotels are 11am check out so i think that was my biggest dislike. Oh and the 1000 piece jigsaw don't attempt it. It has pieces missing

Pros: It was really clean spacious and modern When we ran out of gas it was replaced within minutes great customer care

Cons: The water pressure was very low so shower wasn’t so good and filling the bath The swimming pool was quite expense I appreciate this isn’t the lodges but should be fed back if you stay in a lodge you can have discount

Pros: Super quiet and restaurant was amazing great food the area was amazing

Cons: Water pressure was zero poor shower and heating wouldn't start but apart from that ok No salt and pepper
