Hideaway Lodge

Pros: Lovely lodge to stay in, the bedrooms, the views, everything. An added bonus that a Christmas tree was up for us when we arrived which the kids were very happy about as santa had somewhere to leave their presents. Everything we needed was there, very well thought out by the owners. Brilliant stay and would certainly stay again as well as recommend others too.

Fab stay!

Pros: Lovely location and presented throughout. Would absolutely come again. Great communication with the owner. Tiny little bits that made it lovely at the property - unsure if the owner put them in or previous guests - oil, bubbles, etc. We used to come as kids, so we were pleased to find that the site was very well kept considering how old it is.

Cons: I felt the staff at the restaurant could have been more friendly, but this did not impact our stay. We had one minor issue, but this was quickly resolved and mitigated. Potentially, bug nets over windows would be a lovely improvement as we had to fight out a couple of bugs - mainly because the weather was so hot, so we had them open a lot.

Excellent family break

Pros: Everything, facilities were first class. Kitchen area had everything you needed, beds were so comfortable, shower was amazing, plenty of space in living area.

Pros: we absaluty loved the lodge and the location. it was more than we expected and will definatly be returning soon, we where a little gutted we didnt book a longer stay now but, all a learning experiance as we will be looking at a longer stay next time.

Cons: we couldnt fault the lodge at all it was great

Lovely Xmas at that lodge would highly recommend and would love to go back in the summer

The weekend break was made more enjoyable by the comfort of the Hideaway Lodge. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property in a great location

Pros: Fantastic property in a great location Very comfortable beds, the shower was fantastic Fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need for a self catering holiday We will definitely be booking here again Also need to mention the owners as they too were great, we needed to ask a couple of questions and they answered them within minutes of sending.

Hideaway lodge with toddlers

Pros: Comfortable and clean amd soo close to nature. My tiddlers loved the ducks and it was more than adequate living space for them and loads of adventure.

Cons: I didn't think the restaurant was useful at all as we wanted halal options and it didn't serve on one of the days. Self catering was more than sufficient for us in the end and all the appliances in the lodge were modern. We did order from Lake Raj but licked it up. Overall. Ot bad at all for self catering.
