The lodge was lovely and comfortable. Good for a family with children.

Pros: The location was great. Close proximity to The Lakes. Good stay for a family.

Cons: Key location!!Would have been much better if we would have had a key safe at the lodge!! Too far away.

A very pleasant family stay - would thoroughly recommend

Pros: The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped, in a nice location close to the lake and swimming pool, which we were able to use for a fee as specified in the description. The owners were very communicative and it was made clear the keys needed to be collected off site in order to access the property. We had a lovely stay.

Cons: The only area of improvement would be to have blackout blinds in the bedrooms - as a parent of young children it impacts their sleep when light can easily flood the room from sunrise, so I always appreciate the ability to keep rooms dark. I imagine in the peak summer months it would also be a blessing as the lodge got quite warm even when we were there with 18 degree temperatures outdoors.

Pros: The property is gorgeous and has a very homely feel to it. My friends and I were there for my birthday weekend and loved everything about the lodge. The location is amazing too and felt super peaceful. Garry was also helpful when we had enquiries about the amenities and had a prompt response time. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

Cons: The location isn’t very accessible to non-drivers, though this isn’t the property owners fault, but it is something to bear in mind.
