Wyreside Lakes Glamping Pods

Pros: lovely peaceful location with stunning views, was just what we needed for some r&r. Good on site facilities and very friendly staff, we have previously camped here before, but gave the pods a go this time and we were not disappointed.

Pros: The pod was a good size for two and clean , set in a lovely location , had a fire pit and table and seating outside . Microwave and kettle and small fridge .

Cons: The mattress was very tired and soft , with a lump down the middle of it , very uncomfortable.The clubhouse is only open at weekends.We stayed in school holidays, so would have thought it would be open . Also the showers are too high so the water aims at the wall and you have to wait for it to run down the wall or stand on tip toes if possible, my four year old grandson had no chance .

A wonderful weekend away

Pros: We had such a great weekend. The staff were friendly, the pod was clean, had everything we needed. The park was beautiful, stunning lakes and lovely walks and the facilities were very clean. The pub on site was exceptionally welcoming of our dogs and we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness. we will go back without a doubt.

Cons: I honestly can not fault anything.

We would definitely return here! I encourage who hasn’t been glamping before to stay here!

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly especially the lady who managed our booking on site. We had booked accidentally for the following week however she accommodated us as soon as she could and even asked a gentleman to guide us to our pod and all the facilities.

Cons: The food in the club house wasn’t great but as we were glamping, this wasn’t so much as an issue as we provided a lot of our own food and snacks. Around 30mins to the nearest supermarket so make sure you get whatever you need before hand. There is a shop on site with essentials but opening hours are limited

Pros: Very peaceful, really clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The shop sells all you need, or what you've forgotten haha. Would definitely stay again.(Now we know there are showers etc)

Pros: Lovely pod. We enjoyed lighting the fire at night sitting outside on our bench. Place very quite. Pub on site but we didnt go in but looked good. We would stay again if travelling through the area

Beautiful location with excellent facilities.

Pros: Was very clean, facilities inside were good. Fridge, kettle and microwave. Outside has a nice picnic bench and fire pit.

Cons: Long walk to get water for kettle, no tea or coffee sachets. If you provide a kettle at least give us the first brew when we get there.
