The Feathers Hotel

Pros: We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable enough for a budget weekend stay. We certainly would not hesitate to book here again.

Pros: Hotel staff very friendly, very helpful. And very kind. Perfect location. Very quiet. The room was perfect. Two minutes away from the cafe four minutes away from town I will be going back later this year

Happy, satisfied and value for money.

Pros: I wanted a clean and convenient room, it met my expectation. There was a slight issue with the hot water, prompt fix by the hosts. Plug in heater provided to make the room cosy around the heating schedule. Unlimited tea, milk & sugar to take to the room. Bed quality is each to their own preferences. I found the bed comfy.

Cons: I would like to say I was happy with everything. I found that there is nowhere to hang outside coats. May I recommend an over door hanger :-)

Pros: The hotel was no more than a five minute walk to everything you needed. Simon the host was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful.

Cons: A little outdated, shower could have been warmer and bathroom a little bigger

Pros: For the price we was very happy . The owner was really lovely to myself and my son . She was always there to help . We felt safe which is the most important thing . So close to everything . We will definitely be returning . Thankyou

Lovely hotel, great value for money

Pros: This hotel was a lovely hotel to stay in. We booked it last minute and was very surprised how good value for money it was. The room was cosy and fantastic for our need. Has friendly staff. Will definitely be booking again.

Cons: Nothing it was a lovely hotel. Couldn't fault it at all.

Review of The Feathers Hotel.

Pros: The owner was lovely. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities with extra supplies if we needed them. Water was hot in shower.

Cons: Second floor with no lift and a bad leg..but we were a late booking so I managed. Creaky corridor and banging doors at night with people coming in late. Room was only small and very warm with no heating on and a window open..prefer it a bit cooler at night. A breakfast would have been a nice touch as we have paid less previously and had breakfast included in the price.

Pros: On arrival staff were really friendly and helpful especially Simon he went out of his way to make sure we had really good stay
