Pros: Great location..fabulous walk along the prom to New Brighton. Plenty of places to walk the dog. Host was relaxed and responsive to our requests. Super large living room with great TV. We found the beds very comfortable, (though the second bedroom is very cramped.) The flat was warm and provision of extra heater was helpful. Shower worked well. The Christmas decorations and gift of wine were very nice touches.

Cons: The access to the property is a bit tricky and wouldn’t work for anyone with mobility problems. Bedrooms are dark and have no windows which wouldn’t be great in the summer.

Very relaxing mini break with lots of walking opportunities and great pet friendly pubs.

Pros: Great views across the river . Clean. Warm. Comfortable. Lovely private garden. Lots of beaches near by. Nice helpful host.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Enjoyable stay in a gorgeous setting, with minor areas for improvement.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. Having the extra room, even though it wasn’t advertised, was a wonderful bonus. The garden is gorgeous and a lovely spot for breakfast, and the lounge and bedrooms were cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and modern. The location right on the water’s edge is fantastic and would be even more magical in the summer.

Cons: The apartment could also get quite warm at times, as there wasn't much natural airflow. Being on the ground floor with windows on only one side made it a little tricky to cool, though this was only a minor issue. The communication with the host regarding the second room was a bit awkward. We were asked about our relationship status when deciding whether we needed it. It would be better if the rooms were advertised upfront and left open for guests to choose.

Pros: Excellent location. Welcoming and helpful host. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Cons: 2nd bedroom too dark and basic.

Perfect little apartment , with a very friendly host.

Pros: Loved the location. Very clean , very comfortable . Small.bedrooms but lovely size lounge and outdoor space.

Cons: Nothing really . Maybe a hairdryer ? But that's just being picky.

Lovely flat and garden in super location.

Pros: Superb location. Lovely historic house. Nice garden. Helpful owner.

Cons: Access is from the prom via the garden; vehicles are not allowed on the prom, but we were advised it was ok...and got a ticket! The garden is described as dog-proof, but our dog managed to escape. It took 2 1/2 days of our stay to find her (admittedly the owner helped search for her as well).

Pros: Every thing you needed the only thing you need to bring is your clothes the host Neale even gave us some milk just so we could have a cuppa and a lovely box of chocolates if he’d have us we’d stay again

Cons: The beds but it’s down to taste I don’t like full memory foam it gives me backaches but because of the location it wouldn’t stop us staying again
