The Granary Loft

Nice break in an area of the Lakes we'd not previously visited.

Pros: Cosy little apartment. Great view. Alpaccas a bonus.

Cons: Would have been nice to have more cutlery and crockery. Four of everything was just about workable with two of us, but would have been difficult if there had been four staying.

Brilliant, would go back again, and loved the trails to do some running after work.

Pros: I loved the location, and the apartment itself was perfect for what I needed.

Cons: Easy go hear the people downstairs, and unfortunately one of the guests downstairs snored quite loudly.

Wonderful, peaceful location in modern apartment close to the Lakes

Pros: Superb location on hill above Morecambe Bay and just 20 mins to the edge of Windermere lake. Modern apartment with two bedrooms, living room/kitchen and bathroom. Bathroom and kitchen modern and clean. Dedicated parking place. And Alpacas!

Cons: Carpet is a bit tired but otherwise no complaints.

Pros: Stunning location and beautiful little cottage. Nice to be surrounded by all the animals. The Alpacas were a favourite of ours. The views from the window were amazing looking across the countryside and all the way across the bay. Inside the cottage was clean and very modern with everything we needed for the perfect getaway. The location was perfect to explore different places in the Lake District which were just a short drive away.

Great bolthole from which to explore the South Lakes

Pros: Spotlessly clean, well equipped and ideal for a few days away

Cons: We both found the mattresses to not be that comfortable. They probably just need a quality mattress topper to be just right. We appreciate mattress comfort is a very personal choice

Fantastic stay in a wonderful place.

Pros: Lovely clean and cosy with fantastic views. The granary loft was well equiped. It was great to meet the alpacas.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

Lake District

Pros: We loved the location in the Lake District. It had sheep all on the roads, behind the farm house there were alpacas, and a friendly black cat. The place was our favorite 😍.

Breathe! ( the wonderful air))

Pros: The Granary Loft, Low Sunbrick, Birkrigg Common. We loved being so close to the common and Birkrigg Stone Circle. Wonderful scenery - looking down to Morecambe Bay.
