Woodlands Holiday Apartments

Pros: Great location and friendly host. Comfortable and homely

Lovely family trip

Pros: Very central location with homely touches within the apartment. Basics left in the apartment which you tend to overlook in taking. We all loved our comfy beds. Hosts were very welcoming and gave assistance when and where needed.

Cons: Nothing.

Grand, spacious apartment, ideal for the town and beach

Pros: Great location, on a quiet road next to St Anne's park and gardens, a couple of minutes walk from the town's shops, supermarkets and beach and with bus stops at the bottom of the road with regular services to Blackpool in one direction and Lytham in the other. The first floor apartment itself was large and clean with all the facilities you could want, and you could just see the sea out of large windows in the living room / kitchen. The hosts, who live on the ground floor, were welcoming and friendly without being overbearing. Our apartment also had an infrared sauna which was a nice and unusual addition. The town of St Anne's itself is lovely, with a pier and beautiful park, decent bars, restaurants and shops, and good supermarkets.

Cons: The electric shower wasn't particularly powerful and it was difficult to maintain a consistent temperature. The rest of the apartment's hot water is served by an immersion heater which you have to remember to switch on for a while before you need it. To open the front door downstairs requires a key code to be inputted every time. Would have been nice to have a buzzer instead linked to the apartment, or perhaps a second key for the front door so you don't have to remember the code! These are all very minor points though that didn't affect our holiday.

Pros: We loved the apartment it was spacious, quiet with the added extra of a sauna. Close to the shops and sea but tucked away round the corner. 5 minutes from Blackpool too. We arrived to a friendly greeting. The apartment was extremely clean with some complimentary biscuits. As a family with teenagers both on the Send register it was the perfect place for them. We will be visiting again.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. It was what it says it is and more.

Lovely area to stay in especially in lythum, the high st has lots of shops

Pros: Everything was very cute & cosy. Had everything we needed, & Christine the host was lovely & helpful.

Cons: The only thing I missed was a king bed but you don’t get to many of them in the uk

First Class

Pros: location is perfect just a few minuets walk to sea front and town centre. If you wamt to use the bus the stop is also a short walk. The owners of the appartment live on the ground floor and are always on hand if you need any help.

Cons: We liked everything

Pros: The location was spot on for the beach and Ashton Gardens and shops etc.

Wonderful stay at Woodlands

Pros: The facilities were excellent. Everything you could possibly need. The owners were friendly and happy to accommodate any request. They met us upon arrival which was a nice, personal touch.

Would definitely recommend Woodlands apartments 5 stars

Pros: Excellent location to the town, train station, and seafront Spotlessly clean apartment with all amenities Comfortable living and kitchen area Bedrooms are spacious and comfy beds

Cons: The only issue was the stairs to the 2nd floor apartment for me. But that’s because I have a hip issue Otherwise great apartment with a cracking view

Pros: Lovely clean pleasant apartment with everything you need perfect location for shops promenade buses host were lovely & helpful really enjoyed our stay
