Stunning 2 Bedroom Apartment in Liverpool

Good place for 2 single friends or a pair of couples (room each) to stay

Pros: Spacious, well lit, not too from amenities and nightlife about £6-7 in an Uber to city centre.

Cons: There was an issue with the cleaning service upon arrival - however the admin staff were helpful (in particular Miele), she addressed the issue straightaway, replied to messages in a timely manner, her customer service was on point. The cleaners were friendly, and also tried to address the situation with complimentary beverages.

Pros: The apartment was well appointed, clean, spacious, well placed and incredibly comfortable!

Cons: Biggeat issue for me would be what others have mentioned in reviews about rough sorts hanging around near the front door at all hours near the shop next door. But that is hardly the fault of the building or the guys who own it! Also apartments could do with fans for the hotter days, but a minor gripe it has to be said!

Pros: Apartment very spacious and light, comfortable beds, good shower. Convenient shops outside.

Cons: Stairs inside the property, a little noisy on main road

Great stay!

Pros: Really good size for the price, open and airy and comfortable. Great location with a shop downstairs and a takeaway so it had everything we needed. Just a quick 10 minute bus into town and the busses were frequent.

Clean, comfortable and Spacious.

Pros: Great location for me - just around the corner from my son. Not much in the immediate neighbourhood and feels quite, um.... 'edgy' ....but my son knows the area well and good walking routes into the Georgian district and nice parts of the city within 10 mins. Very spacious and lovely and clean. Comfortable beds and cosy bedrooms with good furnishings throughout. Good bathroom and excellent kitchen. All quite new and minimal - nice neutral decs with splashes of bold green. Lovely open kitchen/living room with tons of windows and natural light. Very relaxing vibe.

Cons: I am going into detail here but I was happy overall. Noisy road - not too bad in the bedroom although an emergency vehicle with sirens woke me one night around 2am- but more noticeable in the lounge/kitchen. Not a major issue in winter as we did not want windows open and we were on the second floor so far enough away and I would have to say it did not bother me, I just noticed it. The main room is lovely but difficult to heat and keep warm. Good that the two wall mounted heaters were programmable - as the room took a while to get to a comfortable heat. Luckily there was an extra electric radiator. The bathroom is also on the cold side - the towel radiator is nice and hot but not big enough to heat the whole room adequately. Could do with another sofa - there were only two of us but the flat has 2 double bedrooms and only one sofa and one chair. Sparse kitchen crocks - highly minimal in what is a full kitchen so that felt odd. 4 plates, 4 mugs, 4 forks etc. No point proving a Nespresso type machine if you don't provide pods. Thanks for the washing up liquid - it was all we needed as we did not cook and did not need dishwasher. Biggest issue for me was that all the hallway/stairs needed a good vacuum - leaves blown in from outside, bits of plastic etc, and outside the front door is really grotty with discarded clothes and rubbish - needs a good sweep out regularly. Shame as trouble has been taken inside with new carpet etc and it's just not a good look. The front door key on one of the sets (we had two which was great) was sticky and needed a good bit of 'jiggling' to get it to open the front (street) door.

A great and flexible alternative to staying at a hotel and a very relaxing experience

Pros: New property so in great condition and practically new cooker/fridge/microwave etc. Comfy bed and plenty of fresh towels. Handy shops below apartment and a fast food premises and cafe nearby too. It’s a good 15 min walk to town centre which we didn’t mind but others may need to use local bus or taxi service.

Cons: No hand soap in bathroom. Only one tea towel in kitchen. Biggest gripe would be security deposit being effectively debited from bank account as available funds reduced by this amount - and then having to wait 5 days for this to be refunded. This process was not explained on listing and I feel others should be aware of this - if I had known this in advance, it wouldn’t have come as a disappointment!
