Family visit and most comfortable stay with views from upstairs lounge.

Pros: Lovely interesting lodge. Plenty of room. Saw fireworks first night which was unexpected and enjoyed. Large swimming pool onsite was a bonus.

Cons: Bunk beds but I slept in top one and was really comfortable.

Brilliant value great accommodation .

Pros: Great lodge on a lovely site for our weekend away. The site has a nice restaurant that is dog friendly and a good swimming pool and gym. The lodge is modern and well equipped comfortable for 6 people . The owner was great in answering any queries and we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Cons: A few little maintenance jobs needed like fixing the sliding door on the shower cubicle but nothing that affected our stay.

Pros: Perfect location. Very spacious, had everything needed for a short break. Loved the views from the upstairs living room balcony, location, extremely comfortable beds and the feeling of space.

Summer break

Pros: The lodge was beautifully decorated and is located near the lake and resteraunt. Everything we needed was provided. We had a problem with the garden furniture as it had been damaged prior to our arrival. This was quickly rectified, and new furniture was provided to allow us to enjoy the outside space. Very happy with this little holiday and would return.

Cons: We tried to enquire about the gym classes, and were cut short by the staff member on duty who informed us that we should have booked these weeks in advance and we had no chance in getting into any during our week stay. The leisure centre is £25 per day for 2 adults and 2 children, which was a bit steep. When I telephoned the site prior to our visit, I was informed that we could swim for approx £5 per session. However, this wasn't allowed when we tried, and we had to book the day or go elsewhere. This isn't something that the lodge owners can do anything about, so is not a reflection of them and their lodge. However, maybe a note on the booking advert to let people know how the leisure facilities work would be helpful. I would hate to arrive with small children in tow and find that we were limited to what we could use.

Excellent value for money.

Pros: Extremely pleased with this property. The decor was lovely, with a few homely touches. The beds are super comfy. The tele in each bedroom was a bonus. The pool table on the kitchen is an excellent idea. All TV’s are smart with easy log in to prime, Netflix etc. overall I’m happy with this accommodation and it’s worth every penny.

Cons: The main bedrooms bathroom had a damp smell but it wasn’t that bad. Maybe an extractor fan would be handy for this minute smell.

Pros: The lodge was immaculate very comfortable everything we could want or need the only one thing that let it down was the outdoor furniture which was very shabby all peeling of and this could so easily be fixed i no this is probably not owners fault but the people that stay here and pick at the furniture and show no respect

Cons: Nothing i didn't like and would deffo book again

Ok accommodation, very nice location.

Pros: The location was great, the beds were comfortable. The pool table was a brilliant addition. I think it's worth what you pay for it.

Cons: The accommodation is a little tired, most of which a handy man couldn't fix in a day. I do, however, understand when renting to people with dogs, there needs to be a cost/risk analysis involved. Plates still need replacing as there was only 4 (6people on the trip) the owner did say he would refund us if we wanted to get replacements but we managed with side plates.

Overall good value for money, a few tweaks to the accomadition would make it very good

Pros: Nice size and the pool/table tennis was a good addition

Cons: Beds poor, main bedroom had a double mattress on a king size bed
