Spacious 2 bed appartment next to BAE with spa bath

Pros: Fantastic space to stay in. Close to town centre, supermarket, bus stops.

Cons: Couldn't work out how to get hot water! So couldn't have a showers!

Great for a working base in Barrow!

Pros: Great place for someone working at the Base or in Barrow-in-Furness on Business - spacious, well-equipped and functional - we will definitely book again if it becomes available. It has everything you need and is quite comfortable. Not sure I would recommend it for families on holiday as the street outside is a bit dark and foreboding with no streetlights, as is the back entrance and, as a few people have said, there is a slight damp smell but don't let that put you off - there is no damp - it is just a very long apartment and the windows and doors are all at one end - nothing a wee bit of ventilation wouldn't sort out. All in all it is great - really good option for a working base I would say - we will book again whenever we can.

Great apartment, used as base for Lake District

Pros: Nicely renovated Bath is great Lovely private garden Would be ideal for night workers as no bedroom windows

Cons: Stuffy bedrooms as no windows, could do with a fan perhaps.

Over all stay we really like it. Only the downside was the parking and no fans in the bedrooms and no windows on the bed

Pros: Spacious. Clean. Easy access to shops. Good wifi speed.

Cons: No windows in the bedrooms. Feeling suffocated. No electric fans. Kinda difficult looking for parking.

Pros: few steps to morrisons witch is a bonus. Back yard its a plus - we travel with 2year old boy and he was able to play outside

Great place, great location, good value

Pros: The apartment had a homely feeling and all the facilities we needed. The spa bath was a nice touch. The location was great, right in the centre within walking distance of all shops and a good selection of eating places. Only 5 miles from South Lakes Wildlife Park.

Cons: All was good, however not suitable accommodation should we wish to return with a disabled member of the family, as there are a few steps into the premises and not enough space for wheelchair access.

Excellent and spacious

Pros: Excellent apartment in the centre of town. Very spacious with everything we needed.

Cons: Only slight niggle was the mattress being a bit bouncy but only because I am used to a harder memory foam

Pros: Spacious apartment, comfortable and functional. Smart TV and DVD were a bonus for myself and the kids. Comfortable beds, sofa and chairs. Nice to have two quiet bedrooms. Lounge area has natural light and is cosy, connected to the kitchen. Great to have a decent size dining room also.

Cons: Everything important worked well. If I was being picky I'd say the Wii (that is a nice touch to include with the apartment) needs an adapter to work with the TV, a phono to SCART is probably easiest. We got it working but grainy video as the TV has a different input.

Second time staying here, will definitely book again.

Pros: Everything. A home away from home. Great instructions from the owner. Comfortable, quiet, warm, clean, parking right outside/nearby.

Cons: Nothing.
