Western Lakes Country Escape

Pros: It was all we needed for the 2 of us. Comfy bed. Lovely log fire. Good kitchen facilities. We were given a warm welcome by the owner in person. He was friendly and approachable and really helpful before arriving and at departure. Cottage in a lovely little village with great walks nearby.

Cons: Flies...they kept appearing/coming in from somewhere. The fridge could do with some maintenance...storage in fridge door missing and one of the shelves broken with no salad drawer. Although a washing machine and tumble dryer was provided there was nowhere to dry clothes if you didn't want to tumble dry them...no clothes line or airer.

Pros: Perfect for a family with shops like aldi tesco a short drive away rohan beach on your doorstep sand dunes amazing 😁

Cons: Just the traffic it's meant to be 20 miles an hour farmers etc whizzing through the village and lack of garden area which does reflect in the price
