Wildlife lovers dream

Pros: It was so spacious and clean and comfortable. It had everything we’ve been looking for in a lodge for some time such as a washing machine and dishwasher. Oh the joys of having creature comforts on hand. Being so close to the cows and wildlife was such a treat. Nathan & Jean the owners were both very pleasant and on hand should you need anything at all. It was a welcome change to receive a message a few hours into our stay via WhatsApp to see how we were finding the lodge and if we needed anything. It was so quiet and peaceful and relaxing at chestnut lodge. Can’t wait to go back

Brilliant lodge, with lovely surroundings! Clean, comfortable, and a great stay!

Pros: Location was brilliant! Not too far from different places we visited. Beds were comfy, clean, and warm. All round great place to stay for a get away! And would 100% stay again!

Pros: Beautiful location so relaxing and very comfy and clean

Cons: Everything was fabulous a small freezer would have been good as I have bad back and use ice packs but this did not impact on our stay and can’t wait to return
