Swift Retreat Caravan - Morecambe

Stevenson Family stay at Swift Retreat.

Pros: We liked the homeliness and spacious feel of the caravan. The TV in the living room is massive, WiFi is great and all bedrooms have tvs and very comfy beds. Gas central heating is excellent and there are extra electric heaters in all rooms...this is by far the warmest caravan we have ever stayed in. Owners have thought of everything air fryer, towels, tea towels, cleaning products, wash liquid, loo rolls, sweeping brush, mop etc and responds to messages very quickly. Early check in and late check out were a very welcome and much appreciated bonus.

Cons: The only negative we found is that there is only one shelf for the oven and grill which makes cooking food for four people difficult but it did not spoil our stay.

Pros: We loved everything from the smooth booking, transaction, communication. Emma truly is the host with the most. Nothing is too much trouble and I highly recommend x

Pros: The caravan itself was a wow factor as walking in. Its beautiful. Exceptional cleanliness, apart from no duvet covers on the duvet in my grandsons room. But he didnt care. Its a really nice park. I arrived in heavy rain, and it was a haven just to relax in and warm my wet bones. Im looking for a holiday next school holidays as its so nice, I never actually tried anything the park offered, as I was just down for a wedding, 2 nights, But it was luxury, Everything needed was there. But if youre there for a few nights, and its raining, I'd advise bringing a few extras as its only 1 towel per person, and 1 in the toilet to dry hands. I used 1 to put under the dripping coats. If youve stayed in a caraven like this before, its still ok as I was told by a friend. 10 our of 10 from me though.

Cons: The writing of the different parts of the area and number on the front of a caravan. My eyesight isnt as it was, and I had to get out of the car, and got cold and wet feet due to flooded paths and a lot of rain, not the parks fault, just to see what road were we were on. I never followed the directions properly, and ended up driving around for about 20 minutes to find our caravan. . But honestly make the writing bigger. I was on Windermere, and like i said I had to get out of the car, and move closer to see it. In the heavy rain. It was amost impossible to see.

Great get away with everything u need close to Morecambe sea front

Pros: Loved the accom. Disappointed we weren’t told beforehand of the £9 charge to access the facilities such as the bar and restaurant - as we were only there for 2 nights, didn’t seem worth paying

Cons: Site was well maintained although I would say the static were a little close together

Pros: Loved the size of the Caravan, it was beautiful inside, extremely well clean as well. The decking area outside was perfect the the dogs to run around and get some air. The bedrooms were equipped as well and plenty of towels, fresh linen and pillows

Cons: We would have loved to have had a fan for the warm weather. We looked everywhere but couldnt find one, there was a heater but unfortunately no fan, which we struggled without. The decking furniture outside would have been even better if there were more seats and cushions. You felt like you were going to break the seats and also, booking a caravan for 6 people, we thought there would have been enough seating outside but were let down by that.

We had a lovely stay when we came down to attend a family wedding. Will definitely be back.

Pros: The location was perfect & the van was immaculate. Couldn’t have asked for any better. Modern, bright & spotlessly clean.

Cons: Only complaint would be food was not great in restaurant.

Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for Emma, we asked if they did a birthday package as it was my mother's 70th, they went above and beyond with balloon and banners, even a really nice card my mother was made up, very clean, very comfortable, WiFi with smart tvs in room and bedrooms, a really good touch! Will definitely be staying again thank you so much

Cons: Nothing to not like, lovely clean tidy caravan

Pros: Great location and good size. The most comfortable caravan bed we've ever stayed in and very clean and well equipped. Hosts very attentive and helpful. 10 min pleasant walk to seafront and promenade. 1 towel each supplied which was fine for us as we dried in car but take more if this is your preference. We stayed for a football match with the ground and a great pub over the road. Would recommend!

Cons: Shower a little cool for us but personal preference rather than an issue
