Exceptional

Pros: Beautiful clean holiday home. Beautiful view right on the lake. Caravan was well equipped. Beds was comfy felt right at home. Will definitely be booking again in the near future.

Cons: There was nothing we did not like.

Comfortable, cosy and fab location

Pros: The pictures don’t do the property justice. The location was exceptional and so was the view from the balcony. Nothing could beat watching the sun rise over the lake, early in the morning, with a cup of hot chocolate on the balcony. I couldn’t leave this review without mentioning the little personalised touches from our host - like the age appropriate and thoughtful Christmas presents she left for our two children and special adult treats for us. We would definitely book again.

Fully equipt with everything you need for your stay. Great location with an excellent view

Pros: Great location and great views over the lake. 50 yards from the Ski Bar which opens at 12:00 for light lunches and refreshements. 10 minute walk into Haverigg where the local chippy is highly recommended.

Cons: Couldn't fault this property in any way shape or form.

Pros: Location was lovely and so close to neighbouring towns. The lake view from the balcony was great to look out over on an evening. Everything was there that we needed for a comfortable stay

Great location let down by cleaniness

Pros: Great location, we mainly stayed around Millom, more than enough to keep us entertained. Directions to property spot on. Parking easy to use. Thought the local bar and passers by would be noisy but they weren't in fact holiday makers were quiet and friendly. The static was well equipped pots pans cutlery throws etc which helped so much. Large large fridge freezer and working washing machine. Found the interior very spacious.

Cons: The inside of the property wasn't clean enough. The floors felt sticky and made our feet feel damp and we felt like we had to clean everything before using things. One of the first things we did when we arrived was hoover away several cobwebs from the corners of the property. The bathroom has certainly seen better days and the whole property is in need of an upgrade. The outside was also dirty and covered in cobwebs. We even had to clean the guest book before picking it up, it was that dirty.

Pros: Perfect location with stunning views. We took our four children with us and Lake Edge view had thought of everything, from a big box of games to a huge choice of dvds 😊. The caravan was fully equipped with everything we needed throughout our stay. We booked the aqua park for one of the days we were there and we all absolutely loved it. Overall it was a gorgeous weekend with beautiful accommodation, we can’t wait to come back.

Lovely family weekend

Pros: Home from home caravan. Amazing location and stunning views of the lake. We had a fab weekend paddleboarding. The children loved playing the games and we watched a few dvds while there also.
