Fabulously curated property in a great location

Pros: Fantastic property, great well equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Enclosed garden was fabulous for Wilson (the dog!) and the roundhouse was a lovely addition. Excellent location, so close to the sea and backing onto a great nature reserve - again brilliant for walks with Wilson. A great new year with peace and a lovely log fire.

Cons: Nothing - it really exceeded our expectations

Perfect for a few days break we had planned over the Xmas period. We shared with friends and our dog, hosts were excelle

Pros: We absolutely loved everything about the place. It was homely, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Just sitting in front of that log fire is amazing The hosts were lovely and helpful. We didn't want to come home. We are definitely going back.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Nice quiet location. Beautiful garden with outdoor seating and garden room, although the weather was dreadful for our stay, so we didn't actually use them. Our hosts were very attentive. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing place to stay!

Pros: The cottage is amazing! We loved everything, starting from the tea cups, pillows and mattresses, to the cosy fire place perfect for a chilly evening. The garden is great for dining in the sunshine, and the little round play shed made the stay that bit more enjoyable. Such an amazing stay! Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts!

Beautiful house

Pros: We had an amazing week. The Foundry view is absolutely stunning. It was spotlessly clean, and everything was high class. The garden was beautiful with lots of seating areas to sit out and relax with family. There was a lovely beach walk at the end of the garden, which the dogs loved. Emma and Darren were excellent hosts, great communication, and easy check-in. They provided lots of added extras, which was un expected. eg, milk, bread, butter beer, wine. Which was really thoughtful and appreciated. We would definitely recommend this beautiful house. The Devon pub down the road was great too ( don't serve food), but the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Cons: Not many restaurants in the town, but we found lots within driving distance and lots of takeaways available

Pros: Lovely place to stay in Millom. Pub near by.and close to all amenities and lakes
