Super cosy, quiet and relaxing

Pros: Beautiful cosy cottage, lovely little log burner, underfloor heating

Cons: It was clean enough but there was a fair few cobwebs everywhere and scum on the bath taps but once I ran them a bit and cleaned them it was fine

Cosy and comfortable

Pros: Cute, comfortable, clean and warm. Wood burner was lovely. We bought more wood and kindling for it as we liked it so much. Was needed after the wet day ! Couldn’t park outside the cottage, but there’s parking a few seconds walk away. It’s not a busy place, so easy to load and unload. Would have preferred some liquid soap in the kitchen rather than a teeny bar and larger mugs too, but would never be a deal breaker ! Loved the cake, Kendal mint cake, apple juice , dog treats and milk that was waiting for us - lovely thought. Peaceful place. We walked to the Haverthwaite and Lakeside railway station in around 10 mins , so was perfect for us. Would certainly book again. Thanks 🤩

Homely and comfortable.

Pros: Self catering so we could make ourselves a packed lunch

Cons: I have a large car so parked at the top of the road

A beautiful little cottage in the south lakes

Pros: This little cottage is fabulous. Under floor heating, open fire, ample kitchen facilities, fluffy towels… it had everything. The little touches left for us were brilliant. Parking right outside. A small quiet street with easy links to the rest of the lakes. Perfect for us

Beautiful cottage and location

Pros: We liked the rural location and the enclosed garden and access to the paddock were very helpful with our dog. The cottage was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the milk, tea, coffee, sugar and delicious biscuits.

Cons: A drying rack for the dishes would be good.

Relaxing, beautiful and happy stay… would book again! X

Pros: The location was beautiful and the cottage was just the right size for us as a couple and our dog Cooper! So cosy and lovely… and having walks right on the doorstep was ideal… Having the enclosed garden was definitely beneficial and the neighbours / locals were very friendly… Our dog can sometimes be anxious in new places but he was very happy and relaxed here x

Cons: Unfortunately a few kitchen items weren’t quite clean and the kitchen could maybe benefit from some store cupboard items which folk can sometimes forget! (cooking oil, salt, pepper)… but nothing that ruined the stay especially with the welcome card, milk and biscuits left for us x
