Shepherd Lodge

Best place ever!!!!

Pros: We loved every minute of staying here. Perfect little lodge, with everything you need and more inside and out. Lodge was spacious, beautiful bathroom, bath and shower, nice size bedroom, comfortable bed. Living room, comfortable sofa, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. Has washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer and free WiFi. Plus all the other soft furnishings that the lodge provides. Words can not express how pleased we were of our stay and would recommend this staycation to anyone who is looking for a quite, relaxing and best time away. We would definitely visit again as this place has now become out favourite from all our little breaks away.

Cons: There is nothing at all I can say we didn't like, everything was perfect.

Pros: Location is stunning and the village of Cartmel is lovely, more amenities than you would expect. Lodge was very comfortable, modern and perfect for the two of us. Hot tub was very much a favourite.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay - the lodge is beautiful, spacious & the patio with hot tub was a real treat. Check in & out really simple with the key safe, loved the utility/boot room too with washing machine & tumble dryer so no washing to do when we got home which was a bonus.

Cons: I honestly can't fault the lodge - we simply loved it. The only small point was that we arrived on Sunday and knew the hot tub wouldn't be ready until Monday but we were out all day & weren't sure if it was ok to use on our return as there was no notification. Again just a small point.

Pros: The property was absolutely stunning, such a cosey and comfortable feel to it! It’s the perfect couples getaway, the property had the most loveliest touches to it!

Relaxing

Pros: Nice and quite with only a 20 min walk into carmel. Lodge had all the things you could need during your stay. It was nice sitting in the hot tub at nights drinking wine. Location of Lodge is private and not over looked.

Cons: Tv can not get normal channels live

Pros: The lodge was very clean and spacious, and we had a lovely stay. Easy walk along a country road into Cartmel. Hot tub was great too!

Cons: The strict 9am check out could be a little later but that's it!

Pros: It was clean, peaceful and comfortable. Well appointed too.

Cons: Wasn’t keen on the boulders by the car parking space, and the constantly dripping tap, other than that everything was great !
